Stand Analyzer

This tool works together with the Forest Planning and Projection Software (FPS) provided by the Forest Biometrics Research Institute (FBRI). It provides features to model individual timber stands to determine which silvicultural technique best meets your management goals. Both biometric results and financial results are modeled over time. Components include forms for viewing pre-harvest stand conditions, harvest quantities, and residual stand conditions all in the same window. The tool includes windows to view stand thresholds for timing of harvests. Outputs include reports and charts comparing each scenario throughout each step of each planning period. The model has been peer reviewed by Dr. James D. Arney, author of FPS.
