Specialties include forest inventory development and management utilizing FPS (Forest Planning and Projection System) software, Microsoft Access, GIS (Geographic Information System) database development and management utilizing ESRI's (Environmental System Research Institute) ArcMap software, Garmin GPS (Global Positioning System) devices, and high end digital cameras with GPS interfaces. We provide custom programming to add functionality to the above products and create user friendly tools to add value. We stay on the leading edge of software and hardware to assist clients as they transition from existing systems to new ones. Our partnership with Microsoft allows us to test and implement software while it is still in the beta stage of development. We save our clients valuable assets (time and money) by avoiding down time, common pitfalls, and shortening their learning curve. Field work utilizes the latest in technology as well. We utilize high-end lasers, Criterion relaskop, and GPS to maximize accuracy and minimize cost. Special projects requiring a high level of control and an audit trail are accomplished using digital photography that includes georeferenced metadata and seamlessly integrates with the GIS database. |
